This section of the Stick Marsh contains many old stumps and brush remains.

There is some grass, as well.

WARNING: Idle in this section; do not attempt to run on plane.

Shallow crank plugs, spinnerbaits, and top water lures are good here. To reduce hang-ups: pull crank plugs slowly; leave the trailer hooks off the spinnerbaits; use only lightly weighted worms. Set the hook and get the fish out quickly, or she will become ensnarled in the cover.
